Overview
Once your pet reaches the “Adult” stage ("Teku-teku" period), you can invite another player’s pet (which must also be an adult) to form a duo. When the invitation is accepted, your pet and the other player’s pet will form a duo and make their “debut at the Buru Buru Café.” Once they’ve made their debut, the pets will leave their owners to strike out on their own (meaning you’ll have to say goodbye to them). The fur balls ("shard") left behind by each pet in the duo will fuse together, giving birth to a new pet for each player, which you can then begin raising.
How to Form a Duo
Open “Friends” and tap “Visit” (*You cannot visit friends who are currently online)
While visiting, invite them to form a duo (if both your pet and the other player’s pet are adults, a button will appear on the right side of the screen)
Select an invitation item (“Pledge Coffee” or “Pledge Coffee Ultimate”)
Invitation message will be sent
Invitation Time Limit and Reminders
If the invited player does not respond within 12 hours, the invitation will be treated as declined
If the invitation has not been accepted, you can send a reminder to the other player as long as the time limit has not expired (You can send a reminder to the same player up to once per day.)
Rewards and “Pledge Coffee”
When a duo is formed, both players receive rewards.
The rewards you receive depend on which version of “Pledge Coffee” you used for the invitation. (“Ultimate” is more expensive, but the rewards you receive are correspondingly greater.)
Notes
If either pet passes away before the duo is formed, the status of any sent or received invitations will change to “Canceled”
Once you purchase “Pledge Coffee” you will not receive a refund even if the duo formation fails. It’s a good idea to confirm with the other player that they definitely want to form a duo before making the purchase
The species of the new pet born after the duo is formed will be the same for both players.
After naming the new pet, you’ll earn Player XP.
