This article explains what you get for finishing a territory, how building upgrades affect your territory, and what to expect if your buildings are damaged by other players.
What you get for finishing a territory
Spins: Completing a territory awards 25 spins.
Other rewards during events: During special events (for example, Turf Boss), territory completions may give extra rewards (additional spins, Revenges, or bonus coins) as specified by the event.
Building upgrades — what they do
Progress / Star level: Upgrading a building raises its star level, which serves as a progress or achievement indicator for that territory.
Cost: All upgrades cost coins, and higher star levels cost more coins than lower ones.
Protection & permanence: The main practical benefit of upgrading is defensive: once you finish a territory it cannot be destroyed, and you then move on to the next territory. For this reason, upgrading and finishing a territory is a reliable way to protect the coins you’ve invested in that territory.
Damaged buildings and repairs
Attacks can damage or destroy buildings.
Repairing: Repairing or rebuilding costs coins. Use the territory screen’s repair/upgrade controls to restore buildings.
How to repair
Open the Territory screen for the territory you want to check.
Tap the building you want to inspect or repair.
If the building is damaged you’ll see a Repair option and the coin cost — confirm to restore it.
To upgrade, choose the building and tap Upgrade
After upgrading, finish the territory when ready — finished territories cannot be destroyed.
Quick tips
Upgrade & finish: If you have coins available, upgrading and finishing a territory is the most reliable way to protect those coins from being lost to attacks.
Don’t leave large coin balances exposed: If you have a lot of coins, finish the current territory and move on rather than leaving coins exposed in an unfinished territory.
Use shields and timing: Use shields to protect your territory! You can have up to three shields at any one time.
