Duels are a fun way to compete with friends and other players to earn rewards for your designs. You can challenge people from three places: Friends, Squads, or the Community.
How Duels Work
Friends (Head-to-Head)
Challenge a single Facebook friend directly.
Winning a Friends duel earns 20 Silver.
Up to 10 Friends duel wins will award Silver per day — after that you can still duel but you won’t receive Silver for additional wins.
Squads
Squad duels automatically match your completed design against other members of your squad.
Squad duels usually offer higher rewards than standard matches.
Squads can also earn group bonuses when the entire squad reaches certain goals; group rewards are shared among members based on contribution.
Community
Community duels show designs from the wider player base and are used for broader voting and visibility.
Community matches are useful if you want general feedback or exposure beyond friends and squadmates.
Starting a Duel
Open the Duels menu.
Choose the tab for Friends, Squad, or Community.
Follow the on-screen prompts to challenge a friend (Friends), let the game auto-match you (Squad), or vote/enter community duels (Community).
You can also share your design on Facebook to invite friends to challenge it directly.
Tracking Your Duels
Check the Closed section of the Duels screen to review past matches.
Wins are marked with a trophy icon and highlighted in green so you can scan results quickly.
Why a Duel May Not Count (or Reward)
If a duel didn’t count for a mission or you didn’t get the expected rewards, the most common reasons are:
Wrong duel type for the mission: Missions that ask for a head-to-head duel require the Friends tab. Squad and Community duels usually won’t count for head-to-head missions.
Daily reward limit reached: You may have hit the daily cap for duel rewards (for example, Silver from Friends duels). After the cap is reached, additional wins won’t grant the same daily reward.
Temporary delays: Match generation and reward delivery can be delayed briefly due to backend or platform syncs. If new duels are slow to appear, wait a few minutes and try again.
Squad vs Friend confusion: Squad duels auto-match and have different reward behavior — don’t assume a squad win counts in the same way as a friend duel.
Quick Troubleshooting (If Something Looks Off)
Check Closed Duels: Confirm the result is recorded in the Closed section.
Confirm duel type: Make sure you used Friends if the mission requires a head-to-head win.
Check daily limits: Remember the Silver-from-friend-wins cap (10 per day).
Wait briefly: If matches or rewards are delayed, wait a few minutes for the system to update.
Try again later: If you’ve reached limits, come back after the daily reset.
Quick Tips
Use Friends duels when a mission specifically requires a head-to-head win.
Use Squad duels if you want higher match rewards and to help your whole squad earn bonuses.
Use Community duels to get broader visibility and voting feedback for your design.
