Overview
The Piggy Bank is a limited-time event that lets you build up a stash of Bonus Gems as you play. Bonus Gems are separate from your regular gem balance — they sit inside the Piggy Bank and only become yours when you break the bank.
How it fills
Every time you win a puzzle level during the event, Bonus Gems are added to your Piggy Bank.
The Piggy Bank icon on your HUD shows how full the bank is. As it fills, the icon changes color and starts to jiggle when it's full.
The bank has a fixed capacity. Once it reaches capacity, it stops filling until you break it.
Bonus Gems vs. regular gems
Bonus Gems stored inside the Piggy Bank are not part of your wallet balance.
You cannot spend Bonus Gems until you break the bank.
Once you break the bank, all Bonus Gems inside are added to your regular gem balance.
Breaking your Piggy Bank
Once your Piggy Bank is full, you can break it in two ways:
From the Piggy Bank UI — tap the Piggy Bank icon on your HUD to open the Piggy Bank screen, where you'll see a Break button.
From the Out of Moves dialog — when you run out of moves on a level, a Break button appears in the Out of Moves dialog if the gems you'd need to continue are at least equal to what's stored in your Piggy Bank.
Tapping Break from either place will:
Break your Piggy Bank.
Credit all the Bonus Gems inside to your regular gem balance.
Let you use them right away — either to continue a level (from the Out of Moves flow) or to spend however you like.
If your bank isn't full, the Break option won't be available.
Price
The price to break your Piggy Bank is shown on the Break button.
After you break it
Your Bonus Gems are credited to your wallet instantly.
The Piggy Bank resets to empty and begins filling again right away as you keep playing.
End of the event
When the event ends, any Bonus Gems still sitting in an unbroken Piggy Bank are lost.
Make sure to break your bank before the event ends so your Bonus Gems aren't wasted.
Tips
Keep an eye on the Piggy Bank icon — when it's full and glowing, you're ready for a break.
If you're breaking from the Out of Moves dialog, the option appears when the gems you'd need to continue equal or exceed what's in your Piggy Bank.
