Sidekicks are companion dragons that fly beside your Guardian and automatically attack enemies. Each one has its own element, skill, and rarity, which determine how effective it is in battle.
Sidekick Skills
Every Sidekick has a unique passive skill that activates automatically during gameplay. Skills can include:
Damage Boost – Increases the Guardian’s attack power or bullet damage.
Coin Magnet – Draws coins and items toward you.
Boss Slayer – Adds bonus damage against boss enemies.
Egg Enhancer – Increases the chance of hatching higher-tier Sidekicks from eggs.
Guardian Support – Provides a temporary attack or speed bonus to your Guardian.
Higher-rarity Sidekicks often have stronger or more complex versions of these effects.
Damage and Scaling
A Sidekick’s total damage output depends on several factors:
Level: Higher levels increase base attack power.
Rarity & Evolution: Evolving a Sidekick raises its attack stats and improves its skill effectiveness.
Elemental Advantage: Matching a Sidekick’s element against an enemy’s weakness grants 50% bonus damage.
Zodiac Bonus: Evolving two Sidekicks with the same zodiac symbol increases damage further.
Building a Strong Team
A balanced team typically includes:
One Sidekick focused on damage (e.g. Boss Slayer or Damage Boost).
One Sidekick focused on support or coin gain (e.g. Coin Magnet).
Combining different skill types helps you progress faster in both Boss Raids and normal runs.
